Just found out a week ago. I was admitted to the hospital with pancreatitis then I have a CAT scan to find out that I have Stage IV lung cancer. What a shock

It is a shock, but I want you to know you are in great hands, and your treatment will likely improve things for you. What has helped me is prayer, and focusing on other peoples’ problems while praying. Stay away from the internet, because you’ll see a lot of false information there. Focus on getting well, and get plenty of rest. The doctors will explain everything as they get test results and move forward. Peace and comfort to you!

Went to Dr. thinking I had some injuries last Sept. Turn out to be Stage IV (NSCLC). Gone through many appointments and some radiation, now immuno treatment. Shock-me too. Don’t know what to think, who have I become, or what to expect. Probably should share with people in similar circumstances.
