What side effects did you experience while on this medication?

Hi, I'm sander

I have been using Gemzar and Xeloda since 12/18/12. At this time the major side effect that I am gettin is that I am feeling much better physically and mentally. This is the first time in 9 months.
Have there been any specific studies of interaction and side effects and benefits of using celebrex, aspirin or niacin with Gemzar and Xeloda?

I have experienced Nausea mainly, this I have controlled by having one Metoclopramide, also konwn as Maxalon, tablet one hour before all meals, I also take Metoclopramide when I feel that I may be sick, generally before going to sleep in the evenings. On average I have been taking four Metoclopramide tablets during a 24 hour period, one before breakfast, one before lunch, one before dinner and one before going to sleep.

I have also experienced a light two day period of soft to loose motions, these were easily controlled with Imodium capsules. I felt that the reason for the loose motions was by soup based liquid diet due to loss of appetite and feelings of nausea.

I have not had any infections.

My Consultants, Dietcians, and Nurses all advised me that it was very important to keep on eating small amounts often in order to maintain my weight which had fallen from 60Kg to 37Kg over three weeks.
